Ultra360° has been specifically designed with the convenience of the assembler in mind. The inlet and outlet ports are located on separate, independent elements of the filter housing, so that the angle between them can be freely adjusted. This gives the installer complete freedom in positioning the filter in the engine compartment.
To make it easier to install the system, especially for 6-cylinder installations, and where there is a need to branch the gas supply to the injectors - we used a so-called "Y" connection. Now you don't need to use separate "Y" splitters to feed the gas to the two injector sections.
The Ultra 360° has been designed specifically with the fitter's convenience in mind. To ensure high filtration efficiency, polyester was used as the filter material. The polyester filtering material we used is a special non-woven fabric, which is characterised by better filtration efficiency than paper and blotting paper and a slightly different mechanism of retaining dirt particles. To ensure adequate filtration accuracy over the long term, the surface area of the filter material must be as large as possible, which we achieved by pleating it without increasing the size of the filter.
In addition to its ability to retain contaminants (filtration efficiency), the filter material must also be characterised by adequate strength. We have achieved this through its proper shaping (pleating) and the use of additional elements that do not participate in the filtration process, but ensure, for example, that the filter cartridge is sufficiently rigid.
